I wanted to like this glove…and it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t that great either. It felt good and had that wonderful leather smell that baseball fans can appreciate. But compared to other gloves at this price point—the Wilson A2000s and the Rawlings Heart of the Hides, it didn’t really set itself apart. It seemed good enough but unremarkable. One thing though that did stand out (and it may be minor) was that on the side it was stamped that it was made in Mexico. Nothing against Mexico but it seemed an odd thing to advertise.Like I said, the glove felt alright but for $250, you are probably better just buying a Wilson or Rawlings. I returned my Shoeless Joe and don’t miss it.
