We have a newly built pool less than a year in Florida. We don't have a screen enclosure, so we get a lot of leaves in our pool. Since we don't have a winter here we just leave the pool uncovered and running all year. A few times through the winter months though, the leaves were so heavy, that the skimmer basket that the pool builder put in the pool got sucked down getting stuck.This skimmer basket is 3" taller than the old one we have so it fits perfectly (see pictures). The material is super durable and will last a long time. It also has a weight in the bottom of it where there's no way it'll float up like the other one would sometimes. It's worth the price for sure and going to make our lives easier never having to pry it out like the last one!
